Project SEED

A Summer Research Internship Program for Economically Disadvantaged High School Students

Application – Applications for Summer 2017 will be made available during the first week of May

 
    1. The applicant must meet the following qualifications:
      •   Be considering a science major or career
      •   Have completed a one-year introductory high school chemistry course
      •   Will begin your high school junior or senior year in Fall 2016
      •   Can establish your family income does not exceed 200% of the current 2016 Federal Poverty Guidelines. For this purpose the applicant must provide a copy of parent/guardian’s 2015 IRS 1040 Form. Income information is confidential and will be used only for the purpose of verifying eligibility for participation in Project SEED.
      •    You have read and understood the 2016 Project SEED Program Guidelines.
    2. The applicant must complete the application – the application may be submitted electronically to carlos.crespo@case.edu or sent to:

      	Cleveland, OH 44106-7078
    3. Please arrange for a recommendation letter from a science (preferably chemistry) teacher who knows you and your academic abilities. Details for the teacher are given at the end of the form.
    4. We require a copy of your most recent official high school transcript. Have it sent to:
