Graduate student JJ Mihaly and undergraduate Stephanie Collins have published organogold(I) complexes that are long-lived triplet-state phosphors with promising nonlinear optical properties.  This work is part of an ongoing collaboration among the Gray lab at CWRU, the Air Force Research Laboratory, and the United States Air Force Academy, with funding from the Air Force Office of Scientific Research.  Read about it in Inorganic Chemistry.
