On April 29, 2026, the Chemistry Department celebrated the 2026 Chemistry Awards Luncheon. Thirty-seven awards were given out during the ceremony to undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, and staff. Dr. Xuekun Xing (CWRU, ’88) was awarded the 2026 Outstanding Alumnus Award and gave an address via video presentation regarding his experience in lithium-ion battery research and development.
