PhD in Chemistry student Mai Rashwan recently won the runner-up Student Poster Presentation Award at NASA’s 35th Annual Thermal Fluids Analysis Workshop (TFAWS 2024). Rashwan, representing the Burda research group, was the only awardee from Case Western Reserve University and won for her presentation of her poster, “Effective Photothermal Energy Conversion Mechanisms of Nanoparticle-Loaded Gels.” Congratulations, Mai!
