Discover MALDI-TOF Mass Spectrometry – May 21, 2025

Join us May 21, 2025 at 1:00 pm in Clapp Hall 201 for a short seminar and Q&A session on the basics of MALDI-TOF Mass Spectrometry and how it can drive your research forward. This will be a hybrid event, Zoom link and recording will be available to all who register. The recently acquired a Bruker Auto Matrix-Assisted Laser Desorption/ Ionization Time-of-Flight (MALDI-TOF) mass spectrometer is a versatile instrument, ideal for the analysis of:

  • Low mass molecules
  • Macromolecules, peptides, lipid or
    glycan conjugates
  • Synthetic polymers and proteins

Soft ionization leads to the detection of intact precursor masses and sample preparation and analysis are simple and fast!
