The department welcomes 6 students for our 2017 NSF REU in Chemistry program who will be involved in an intensive hands-on 10-week research program. Each fellow is assigned to a PI and will conduct summer research resulting in a written report and poster presentation at CWRU’s Support of Undergraduate Research and Creative Endeavors (SOURCE) Intersections.
Our 2017 fellows this year are: Austin Allen (Denison University), Daphney Bonner (Howard University), Eduardo Guzman (University of Rhode Island), Michael Lu-Diaz (University of Puerto Rico, Mayaguez), Joshua Ross (Morgan State University), and Emma Whiting (Washington University in St. Louis).
The program is co-directed by Dr. Blanton Tolbert and Dr. Emily Pentzer, and coordinator by Kelsey Forester.
