Current 5th year PhD student, Regina DiScipio won place in both the virtual poster and presentation competitions in the 2nd ASP Associate Online Symposium Summer 2017 of the American Society for Photobiology. She will also be invited as a speaker and co-chair of an Associate Session during the American Society for Photobiology Meeting in 2018 in Tampa, Fl.
DiScipio works in the Crespo group focusing on pterins, biomolecules found in essentially every living system, and their role in initiating damage of skin cells following UVA light absorption.
