The John S. Diekhoff Award for Outstanding Graduate Student Teaching is awarded annually to two faculty members that have made exemplary contributions to graduate students through work in the classroom.
Robert Gilliard specializes in synthesizing novel molecules with a variety of different methods. He’s coauthored 16 papers, working with some of the best chemists in both Europe and the United States. He’s also a gifted teacher, and has received a number of awards for both his teaching and research.
